Otis 7300
The Otis Door Operator 7300 was obstructed in the 1970s. Besides the AC version there was also a DC conversion available. Otis 7300A with AC-DC converter to DC power drive. Otis 7770A and 7770R door operators look similar, but the motor is covered by a steel box.

Otis i-MOTION
Otis i-MOTION CL closed-loop is an older Otis door operator from 1998. i-MOTION CL has DC permanent motor, 1/6 hp and Digital closed-loop position and velocity.

GAL MODL
In 1984 GAL brought out the GAL MODL (Master Operator Door). The MODL consists of a 1/6 hp DC permanent drive with sprocket, chain, belt and sheaves. The MODL Operator is capable of opening the car and hoistway doors at the same time at a speed up to 1 ½ feet per second. The power supply necessity for GAL MODL Door Operator is 230 VDC, 500 VA, fused at 3 Ampere. Further, the operator is also available for 120 VDC. Door speed is modifiable by means of resistor tubes placed on the MODL operator in a heavy-duty box and on the elevator controller. The opening and closing limits of travel are cushioned by two steps of dynamic braking resistors. The MODL Operator is designed to produce a mechanical harmonic motion, creating a smooth opening and closing cycle. Adjustable initial opening and closing speeds of MODL operator cause the car door clutch to engage the hoistway door roller in a smooth and continuous manner accelerating to high speed and decelerating to final stop.

GAL MOML
In the mid-seventies GAL constructed the MOML (Master Operator Medium Speed). The MOML consists of a 1/4 HP DC permanent drive with heavy duty sprocket, chain, belt, and sheaves. The MOML door operator is capable of opening the car and hoistway doors at the same time at a speed up to 2 feet per second. The power supply requirement of MOML is 230 VDC, 500 VA, fused at 3 Ampere and it is also available for 120 VDC. Door pace is modifiable by means of resistor tubes positioned on the operator in a heavy-duty box. The opening and closing limits of travel are cushioned by four steps of dynamic braking resistors.

GAL MOHL
The Operator MOHL (Master Operator High Speed) includes a 1/2 HP, D.C. DC permanent drive with heavy-duty sprocket, chain, belt, and sheaves. The MOHL Operator is in charge of opening the car and hoistway doors at the same time at a speed up to 3 feet per second. The power supply requirement of MOHL Operator is 230 VDC, 500 VA, fused at 3 Ampere and it is in addition available for 120 VDC. Door speed is adjustable by means of resistor tubes positioned on the MOHL Operator in a heavy-duty box. The opening and closing restrictions of travel are cushioned by four steps of dynamic braking resistors.

The MOML and the MOHL door operators are equal, except for the drive. The MOML has a ¼ HP motor and the MOHL has a ½ HP motor. Installation, wiring, and adjustments are the same for both operator.

GAL MODCTL
The GAL Operator MODCTL (Master Operator Control Top) comes with a 1/6 HP and 230 Volt D.C. motor with heavy-duty sprocket, chain, belt and sheaves. The power supply requirement of MODCTL is 208 VAC or 230 VDC, 500 VA, fused at 3 Ampere. The MODCTL is also available for 120 Volts. MODCTLs power supply rectifier and filter, the open, close and reduced speed nudging 3-pole plug-in type relays are included with the car top controls mounted on printed circuit board. The control resistors, cams and contacts and the printed circuit board are housed in a heavy-duty box mounted on the operator base. Door pace is adjustable by means of resistor tubes located in the operator box. The 1/6 HP motor is capable of opening the car and hoistway doors at the same time at a speed up to 1 1/2 feet per second. Opening and closing limits of travel are cushioned by four steps of dynamic braking resistors. All controls, speed signals, power supply, relays and adjustments are mounted on the operator base. It is available only with the 1/6 HP motor, 120 Volts and 230 Volts, AC or DC.

GAL MOMCTL
The GAL Operator MOMCTL (Master Operator Medium Speed Control Top) comes with 1/4 HP and 230 VDC motor with heavy-duty sprocket, chain, belt and sheaves. The power supply requirement is 208 VAC or 230 VDC, 500 VA, fused at 3 Ampere. It is also available for 120 Volts. The power supply rectifier and filter, the open, close and reduced speed nudging 3-pole plug-in type relays, are included with the car top controls mounted on printed circuit board. The control resistors, cams and contacts and the printed circuit board are housed in a heavy duty box mounted on the operator top. Door speed is changeable by means of resistor tubes located in the operator box. The 1/4 HP motor is capable of opening the car and hoistway doors at once at a speed up to 2 feet per second. The opening and closing limits of travel are cushioned by four steps of dynamic braking resistors.

GAl MOHCTL
The GAL Operator MOHCTL (Master Operator High speed Control Top) comes with a 1/2 HP, 230 VDC motor with heavy-duty sprocket, chain, belt and sheaves. The power supply requirement is 208 VAC or 230 VDC, 500 VA, fused at 3Ampere. It is also available for 120 Volts. The power supply rectifier and filter, the open, close and reduced speed nudging 3-pole plug-in type relays, are included with the car top controls mounted on printed circuit board making it an ideal replacement for an existing operator. The 1/2 HP motor is capable of opening the car and hoistway doors simultaneously at a speed up to 3 feet per second. The opening and closing limits of travel are cushioned by four steps of dynamic braking resistors.

The MOMCTL and MOHCTL door operators are identical with the exception of the motor. The MOMCTL has a ¼ HP motor; the MOHCTL has a ½ HP motor. Installation, wiring, and adjustments are the same for both operators.

GAL MOVFR
The GAL MOVFR is an AC 230V Door Operator constructed in 2004. The MOVFR Door Operator is controlled by a variable voltage, variable frequency (VVVF) closed loop drive. The control unit includes an AC ½ HP, 230 Volt, 3 Phases, 60 Hz and 1140 RPM motor and heavy duty sprocket, chain, belt, and sheaves as well as a VVVF Drive and a PC board. It features keypad programming with digital display, door position optical cams, sequential Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) for door speed positions, obstruction detection signal, and DPM Fault Monitor signal. A Heavy Door Input and an Auxiliary Cam are also available. MOVFR accepts universal input control signals from dry contacts to signal voltages, from 24 to 230V AC or DC. The output contacts rated at 10 Ampere, 230V AC including Door Close Limit, Door Open Limit, Re-Open, Door Protection Monitor and Auxiliary.

GAL MOD
The GAL MOD Door Operator from 1974 is one of the oldest GAL operators and most modernized door operator in the US. The operator can be specified as left or right hand.
