How can an error code on the display be interpreted?
An error code issued in the display starts with an "E" and a second consecutive number or letter. It is important to look up the error code displayed in the TSG manual.
Which drive versions are available?
Engine combinations are available in the version left or right positions.
How do I distinguish between the left-hand drive and the right-hand drive?
From the view of the gear head and the down-hole mounting, the output (pinion) will be positioned on either the left or right side of the transmission.
What are the opening directions of the TSG doors?
· one side with a door opening to the left or right
· one side with two door openings to the left or right,
· central door with two leaves opening, center-opening door with 4 or more leaves
In all openings variations, the fastest door is driven by the TSG operator
Can a door with 2:1 ratio be driven by the TSG door operator?
Yes, this is the fastest door driven by the door control device. The 2:1 ratio has to be on site!
Are there any diagrams of existing installed TSG operators
A number of diagrams of existing TSG door operator installations are available featuring a variety of different manufacturer control systems. Please contact Langer & Laumann Ing.-Büro GmbH directly should you require any of diagrams.
Is it possible to adjust the closing force in a closed position?
The force used to hold the door in the end positions can be adjusted within specific parameters. It can be adjusted separately for the open and closed position, on device menu or via the TSG web interface.
Is it possible to change TSG electronic version 2 and version 3?
The TSG electronic V2 has been replaced by its successor TSG electronic V3. The entire plug of the TSG electronic V2 is connected to the electronics TSG V3 and is compatible for all future version too.
My TSG is defective, how can I send the unit in for repair?
You can send electronic TSG or TSG drives for repair to Langer & Laumann Ing.-Büro GmbH. The repair job will need to arranged in advance with Langer & Laumann in order for completion and return delivery to be coordinated.
What voltages are supported by the TSG?
The standard supply voltage of the TSG is 230 [VAC] 50/60 [Hz], however other voltages are available on request such as 110 [VAC] 50/60 [Hz] or 400 [VAC] 50/60 [Hz]
Is there a splash-proof version of the TSG?
It is possible to obtain the TSG400 engine in a splash proof version (IP54).
Is it possible to use the TSG from a distance?
The TSG can be remotely operated using the TSG Web-interface. It is an additional electronic system, which can be either permanently installed on the TSG electronics V3 or installed in a separate case.
Can the parameters be saved?
By using the TSG Web-Interface it is possible to set the parameters of the TSG to export electronics and data to a PC or the like, the data can also be imported into other TSG electronics.
Is it possible to display the operating curve of the TSG graphically?
The movement cycle can be shown with actual graphics using the TSG Web-interface. The corresponding parameters for the mechanical conditions can be adjusted to the optimal operating curve.
What are the different types of housing for the TSG electronics?
There are two types firstly the V3 "stand alone" version with separate splash-proof housing for the TSG electronics.
Secondly there is the version of TSG electronics V3 with up to 15 [m] length of cable from TSG drive away to install in a cabinet.
